Audrey Monseur Allamon

Audrey Monseur Allamon, 86, of Millcreek, died Sunday morning July 10, 2011 at St. Vincent Health Center following a sudden illness. A resident of Erie most of her life she was born in Bridgeville, PA on August 15, 1924 a daughter of the late George and Marie Cabelof Monseur.

Audrey worked at London's Dress Shop as a sales clerk for 25 years. Previously she worked at the Copacabana in New York City. She was a member of Luther Memorial and the Elks Club. She enjoyed golfing and especially playing cards with her friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years John W. "Bill" Allamon; one great grandson, Kevin Harmon; and one sister, Betty Monseur.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandy Gulick and her husband David of Phoenix, AZ and Debi Allamon Boyce and her husband Pat of Erie; one son William "Bill" Allamon of Erie; two grandchildren, Candice Gulick Harmon and her husband Scott and David M. Gulick; two great grandsons, Kenny and Shawn Harmon; her dear friend, Patrick Donohue of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Road, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.. Services will be held there on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
