Jane Quinlisk Burke
Jane M. Quinlisk Burke, a resident of Ross Township, Pittsburgh, formerly of Fairview, PA, died unexpectedly Friday morning, May 14, 2010. She was born in Fairview, December 8, 1965, daughter of Janet Anderson Quinlisk and the late James Quinlisk.
She was employed as an assistant to the president at Towers Engineering, Inc. She was a graduate of Fairview High School.
Married for 17 years, she was the beloved wife of Michael T. Burke and the loving mother of a daughter, Victoria "Tori" Burke and a son, Brendan Burke, both at home. She is also survived by her mother, Janet Anderson Quinlisk, a sister, Jill Hricz and her husband John of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, James Quinlisk and his wife Patty of Erie; In Laws Tom & Phyllis Burke of Erie and many nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her father, James Quinlisk.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at T.B. Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy, North Hills, Pittsburgh and Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Russell C. Schmidt and Son Funeral Home, 5000 Wattsburg Road (corner of Pine Ave. and East Gore Road, I-90 Exit 29). A prayer service will be held there Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. followed at 10:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 2401 West 38th St., celebrated by Rev. Ted Marconi. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for the children's education fund in care of the Schmidt Funeral Home.
