Jacqueline Drummond Chermack

Jacqueline "Jackie" Drummond Chermack, 84, of Erie, died Sunday morning September 13, 2009 at St. Vincent Health Center following a brief illness. A resident of Erie most of her life she was born in Jamestown, NY on December 13, 1924 a daughter of the late Myrl and Marjorie Bloss Drummond.

Jackie had originally worked at the Talon Zipper Company and went on to own and operate the oldest service station in Erie at 13th and Sassafras St. with her late husband.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Wallace T. Chermack.

Survivors include one daughter, Lynne Chermack-Glas and her husband Larry Glas of Erie.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Road, Erie, 16504.
