John Carniewski

John Carniewski, 45, of Millcreek, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Saturday morning August 29, 2009. A resident of Erie all of his life he was born on November 15, 1963 a son of Gladys Herman Carniewski and the late Andrew Carniewski.

John had enjoyed watching football and Nascar Racing, especially Kevin Harvick. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother survivors include two sisters, Deborah Switkowski and her husband Paul of Buffalo, NY and Kathleen Smith and her fiance Glenn Woodell of Erie. Many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one brother, Gregory Carniewski.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Road, Erie, 16504.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
