Harold R. Beebe

Harold R. "Ricky" Beebe, 55, formerly of Schaper Ave., died on Tuesday evening, June 10, 2008 at the Golden Living Center-Erie following a short illness. A resident of Erie all of his life, he was born in Erie on February 15, 1953 a son of Jean Hyzy Beebe of Erie and the late Raymond J. Beebe who died in 2001.

Ricky enjoyed riding his bicycle, playing basketball, and visiting with family members as he did his walks. He had worked for several years at the Marx Toy Co.

In addition to his mother, survivors include a brother, Kenneth Beebe and his wife Marilyn of Erie; a sister, Kimberly Moore of Erie; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother John R. Beebe in 2002.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, 5000 Wattsburg Road, Erie, corner of East Gore Rd. and Pine Ave., Friday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. including a funeral service there Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Mark Eberly, Pastor of the Kearsarge Church of God. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
