Richard W. Bogue

Richard W. Bogue, age 72, of 431 Townhall Rd., Waterford, died Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Abington Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness.

He was born January 29, 1936 in Union City, PA a son of the late Howard W. and Florence Jones Bogue. He worked as a machinist and enjoyed working on cars. He loved to camp, fish and hunt.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce E. Criss Bogue; one sister, Elaine D. Schermer and a brother-in-law, George Schermer.

He is survived by three daughters, Theresa L. Schultz, Tammy L. Winkelman and Terri L. Och all of Erie; two sons, David T. Bogue of Erie and William A. Bogue of Waterford; two sister-in-laws, Patricia Kerr of Girard and Debra Miles of Erie and one brother-in-law, Frederick "Rick" Criss. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Thursday at 7 pm at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street.
