Josephine A. Sherosky Therasse

Josephine Amelia Sherosky Therasse, 100, of Edinboro, died Friday 18, 2010 at her home. She was born in Leechburg, PA on March 2, 1910, the daughter of the late Michael and Stella Sobotka Sherosky.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Therasse, whom she married on May 26, 1926, in 1994, also four brothers, Ralph, Dan, Joe, and Ted Sherosky; and a sister Francis Shaffer.

Survivors include three sons, Joseph Therasse, David Therasse, his wife Charlotte, all of Edinboro, John Therasse and his wife Linda of Florida; a brother, Einar Sherosky; a sister, Marcella Sherosky all of Springdale; seven grandchildren, Leah Nagy, Joe & David Therasse, Susan Ford, Michelle Therasse, Nichole McCool and John Therasse; 15 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. The Glunt Funeral Home, Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Burial will be in Edinboro Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, Erie PA, 16505 or the Asera Care Hospice, 1600 Peninsula Drive, Erie PA 16505.
