Maridel Alice Warner

Maridel Alice Warner, 75, formerly of Meadville Street in Edinboro, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 at the Masonic Village in Sewickley, PA. She was born in Edinboro on July 18, 1934, the daughter of the late Harvey D. and Mary Agnew Warner.

Maridel graduated from Edinboro High School in 1952 and then attended the Erie Co. Vo-Tech where she earned a Degree in Auto Mechanics. She had worked at Matthew's IGA, Edinboro University Book Store, First National Bank in Erie and Edinboro, the Art Store at Edinboro University and Teledyne Penn Union in Edinboro. She was a member and past Deacon of the the Edinboro United Presbyterian Church and also a past member of the Edinboro Vol. Fire Department.

She was preceded in death by three brothers; Thomas, Bill and Jack Warner; and a sister, Jeanne Warner.

Survivors include a brother; James Warner and his wife Jean, of Mesquite TX; a niece Judith, and Nephew Russell.

Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, TODAY, Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009 from 2 p.m. until the the time of a funeral service at 4 p.m.

Burial will be in Edinboro Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Edinboro Vol. Fire Department, 125 Meadville Street, Edinboro, PA 16412.
