Olive Irene Barber Campbell

Olive Irene Barber Campbell, 97, of Edinboro, died Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the Edinboro Manor. She was born in Union City, on April 20, 1912. Daughter of the late Arthur Wesley and Gertrude Parker Barber.

Irene was an Avon consultant for many years and was a member of the Edinboro Senior Citizens.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Paul Lewis Campbell; three sons, Arthur, Frank and Jack Campbell; her daughter Ann Mickle; her brother Melvin Barber; and two sisters, Doris Magee and Julia Rowland.

Survivors include eight sons; Lawrence Campbell of FL; Lewis Campbell and his wife Shirley of Edinboro; Eugene Campbell and his wife Claudia of Mill Village; Robert Campbell of Edinboro; Paul Campbell and his wife Beverly of FL; George Campbell of Edinboro; William Campbell of Edinboro, and Jerry of Edinboro; her two daughters; Marie Helmbreck and her husband Don of Edinboro, and Genny Echols of AZ; also 42 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A service will be held there on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Daryl Myer officiating.

Burial will be in Edinboro Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Edinboro Fire Department, 125 Meadville Street, Edinboro, PA 16412.
