June M. Willenbucker Breese

June Marie Willenbucker Breese, 65, of Erie, formerly of Eureka Road, McKean, died Saturday, April 4, 2009 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Erie on October, 5, 1943, the daughter of the late Charles and Viola Mitchell Willenbucker.

June worked for more than 30 years at the DH Steel Co., formerly Erie Steel Products.

She loved to travel with her friends and family. She went to Europe on several occasions, and many places in the U.S.

June also loved to garden, whether it was flowers, vegetables or fruit. She enjoyed watching birds, especially humming birds. She loved life and liked spending time with family, friends and her puppy dog, Spanky.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Willenbucker.

Survivors include; a son, Edward Breese of McKean; three sisters, Carol Lapping of Millcreek, Betty Yurcak and her husband Ed, Linda Swift and her husband Fred, all of Edinboro; a brother, William Mitchell of Florida; three aunts, Lavina Mundkowsky of Girard, Thelma and Jane Mitchell, a uncle, Clancy Mitchell of Platea, also, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro. with Rev. Duane Pinney officiating.
