Heather Jane Beatty

Heather Jane Beatty, 39, of Edinboro died Monday, March 2, 2008 at her home. She was born in State College, PA on August 1, 1969, daughter of Jane Galbraith Beatty, and the late John William Beatty.

Heather was an active member at the Edinboro United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher. She had a passion and love for the children that she taught. She was also active in the "Linked By Pink" organization of Erie.

She was preceded in death by her father John W. Beatty. Survivors include her mother Jane Galbraith Beatty, of Edinboro; her brother Douglas Beatty and his partner Chis of Baltimore, MD; her uncle and Aunt, Donald and Lenore Galbraith; cousins Terri, Patty and Don; her special friends John Fazio and Linda Hoffman, and her beloved dog Daisy.

Friends may call at the Edinboro United Methodist Church, 113 High Street, Edinboro; on Friday at 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Dr. H. Rand Edwards officiating. The Glunt Funeral Home, Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Burial will be in McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery, in McKeepsort, PA. Memorials may be made to the Family, C/O Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, PA 16412.
