Patricia Ann Hawthorne Wagner
Patricia Ann (Hawthorne) Wagner, formerly of Sheffield, Pa and currently living in Edinboro, Pa, joined her Lord on Thursday, January 29, 2009 while in Venice, Florida. She was the daughter of William and Pearl Hawthorne of Clarendon, Pa.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Francis Wagner, Edinboro Pa, formerly from Sheffield, Pa, her son Mark Wagner (Patti) of St. Mary's, Pa., daughter's Cynthia Skellie (Craig) of Erie, Pa., and Susan Markley (Jeff) of Economy, In., and her sister Betty McClain of Warren Pa., and seven grandchildren, Jennifer Wagner, Mikael Wagner, Elizabeth Wagner, Sara Skellie, Ryan Skellie, Emma Markley, Hannah Markley.
Pat was an active and vibrant member of the community being a member of the St. Anthony's Church and Women's Club, Catholic Daughters of America, Jr. Women's Club of Sheffield, Garden Club, PTA, Red Hatters and also served as a "Big Sister" to children of need. She was the business owner and operator of "Pat's Beauty Salon" in downtown Sheffield, Pa. for 27 years. She loved her family and friends, arts, crafts, and especially the Florida beach. Always known for her easy smile and bubbly laugh, she will be missed by all those whose lives she touched in both the Pennsylvania and Florida communities.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Glunt Funeral Home in Edinboro, Pa., with viewing and service at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Edinboro, Pa., on Friday, February 6,2009. Calling hours will be from 10 am-12 noon with Mass immediately following. A luncheon will follow. Please come and celebrate Pat's life with us. Memorials can be made to the Colonial Manor Assoc. 1200 Ridgewood Ave., Venice, Fl. 34285 or a charity of one's choice.
