Clarence VanWormer Wright

Clarence VanWormer Wright, 81, of Erie, formerly of Edinboro, died Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Golden Living Center. He was born in Conewango, NY on February 3, 1927. Son of the late Levi and Pearl Way Wright. Clarence was self employed as a Mechanic, and was a jack of all trades.

He was preceded in death by his son Michael Wright, and two brothers, Arthur and Charles Wright. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Miriam Schroder Wright; four daughters, Deborah Wright of Erie; Lorraine Guyer and her husband Dale, of Weaver, Al; Laurie Chester of Erie; and Colleen Thorne and her husband Michael, of Mancelona, MI; also 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Glunt Funeral Home, with Dorothy Wright officiating. The Glunt Funeral Home, Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements. Burial will be Private. Memorials may be made to the Family, c/o The Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, PA 16412.
