Helen M. McCann Behr

Helen Marie McCann Behr, 78, Maple Street, Edinboro, died Monday, November 12, 2007 at the Edinboro Manor. She was born in Pittsburgh on November 27, 1927, the daughter of the late Maurice J. and Marie Bailey McCann.

Helen was a member of the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Edinboro.She was a homemaker and was a volunteer at the Edinboro Elementary Schools writing center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude B. Behr, Sr. in November, 2000; also a brother, Maurice J. "Bud" McCann, and a sister, Marian McCann Schellman.

Survivors include a son, Claude B. "Chip" Behr of Edinboro; a brother, Frank McCann and his wife Mary of Edinboro; three grandchildren; Curtis, Kristin and Kellie Behr; also close friends, Carol Kosminski, Alice Behr, and Maggie Mathews, also many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Wednesday, November 14th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro. A prayer service will be held there on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a mass of christen burial at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Edinboro at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. John B. Jacquel officiating. Burial will be in Edinboro Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 128 Sunset Drive, Edinboro PA 16412.
