Lawrence "Larry" Lee Carter
Lawrence "Larry" Lee Carter, 60, McClellan Street, Cambridge Springs, died August 8, 2007. He was born in Erie on October 10, 1946, son of Richard Leroy and Pearl Helena Carter.
Larry was raised in McLane, PA, attended General McLane High School and was a Navy Veteran.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting antiques. Larry volunteered as an ambulance driver for Cambridge Area Vol. Ambulance Service (C.A.V.A.S.), and with Helping Hands Organization for many years.
Survivors include four brothers; James Carter and his wife Sherry of Kennesaw, GA; Forest "Bud" Carter and his wife Sharon of Little Rock, AR; Allan "Snuff" Carter of Cambridge Springs; and Christopher "Scott" Carter of New Smyrna, FL; one sister Cynthia L. McMurry and her husband Jack of San Francisco, CA.
Friends may call Sunday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Glunt Funeral Home, Edinboro, an Independent Care Group Affiliate. A graveside service will be held at McLane Cemetery on Monday at 9 a.m..
