John E. Bresnehan
John Eric "John John" Bresnehan, 43, of Butler, PA died May 16, 2007, at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, IL after a lengthy illness.
He was born on September 19, 1963 in Butler, PA. He is the son of John Merle and Joan M. Weiland Bresnehan.
John worked as a maintenance supervisor for the Facility and Operations Department of Butler County. He was a 1982 graduate of Karns City High School, a member of St. Louis Catholic Church located in West Sunbury, and a member of the Fraternal Order Moose, Chicora Lodge #962. John was a devoted husband and loving father, loved spending time with his family and working in his garden. He also enjoyed softball, golf, hunting, fishing, singing, playing cards, and sports.
He is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Carrie Anne Bresnehan, whom he married June 27, 1998, his daughter Madison Louise, and son Caleb John both at home; four brothers Gale Bresnehan of Norristown, PA, Steve Bresnehan of Butler, PA, Richard Bresnehan of Chicora, PA, Dennis Bresnehan of Fenelton, PA, one sister Theresa Bresnehan Benedetto of Sharon, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday, May 21, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, PA. A prayer service will be held there on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., at St. Louis Catholic Church in West Sunbury, PA. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, North Oakland, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, PA 16412.
