Helen M. Morvay (Tujetsch) Alford
Helen M. (Tujetsch) Morvay Alford, 93, of Union City, Pa., passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011, at Meadville Medical Center, Meadville, Pa. Helen was born August 7, 1917 in Marshfield, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Fred and Meis (Regina) Tujetsch.
She was a homemaker and housewife and was a member of the American Legion, LeBaron Post #237 Ladies Auxiliary, and also of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, Union City, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Meis Tujetsch; sisters, Cordelia Chundrlek and Mildred Doyle; and brothers, John Tujetsch and Lawrence Tujetsch. Survivors include two daughters, Beverely Miller and her husband, Joseph of Canadohta Lake, Union City, Pa. and Jeanette Rush and her husband, Bruce of Powhatan, Virginia; a son, James Morvay and his wife, Charlene of Union City, Pa.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to call at the Robert M. Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 62 South Main Street, Union City, PA, on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa Church, 9 Third Avenue, Union City, PA, on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. Rev. Thomas Suppa will officiate with interment in St. Teresa Cemetery, Union City, Pa.
