Ila Jean Bensink

Ila Jean Bensink, 77, of North Main Street, Union City, PA went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Ila was born August 20, 1933 in North East, PA the daughter of the late Henry C. and Jennie (Carter) Bensink Phelps.

She had worked for General Electric and also for the former Elgin Electronics. She was former Brownie leader and also helped with the girls in the High School Color Guard.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Joah Bensink.

Survivors include her daughter Chris Prenatt and her husband Todd of Union City, PA, three grandchildren, Jenna Miller and Kara Miller both of Union City, PA and Arron Miller and his wife Mevelyn of North Carolina, three great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Paityn and Norra Miller, a brother Richard Bensink and his wife Janice of North East, PA, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

Friends are invited to call at the ROBERT M. GLENN FUNERALHOME, INC. 62 South Main Street, Union City, PA on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 1-4 P.M. and attend funeral services there at 4 P.M. Rev. Thomas Hunsberger will officiate.
