Leon E. Phillips

Leon E. Phillips, 67, of Phillips Road, Wattsburg, PA passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at St. Vincent's, Erie, PA. He was born February 10, 1943 in Corry, PA the son of the late Willie and Olive (McClelland) Phillips. He had worked on the family farm all of his life and also for Welch's of North East, PA before his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather John Stough, and a sister-in-law Rolinda Phillips.

He was married to Brenda Casselman of Jamestown, New York on October 7, 1983 and she survives him. Other survivors include a daughter Theresa Mason and her husband James of Winter Haven, Florida and a son Robert Phillips and his wife Beth of Wattsburg, PA; his mother-in-law Ella Atkins of Wattsburg, a brother Alton Phillips and his wife Paula of Wattsburg; seven grandchildren a niece and four nephews.

No calling hours will be observed and memorial services will be held at the convienence of the family with interment in Lowville Cemetery. The ROBERT M. GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 62 South Main Street, Union City, PA is handling arrangements.
