Celia M. (Bliley) Loomis, 80, of Wayne, New Jersey, formerly of Union City, Pa., passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010. She was born May 10, 1929 in Union City, Pa. the daughter of the late Ward C. and Mildred (Dennis) Bliley.

She was raised in Union City, Pa. and was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 19 of Union City, Pa. before moving to Wayne, New Jersey, where she transferred her membership and was a Past Matron in Wayne. She loved to read and play bingo. She had been employed by State Farm Insurance Company in Wayne, N.J. before her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and survivors include her husband Ralph E. Loomis of Wayne, N.J., a brother Ward C. Bliley, Jr. of Claremont, Calif., two nieces Beth and her husband Brian of Middlefield, Ohio and Deidre and her husband Lee of Rolling Oaks, Calif. Several cousins also survive.

Friends are invited to call at the Glenn Funeral Home, 62 South Main Street, Union City, Pa. on Friday, March 12, 2010 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with an Order of the Eastern Star service to be held at 3:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Linda Chambers of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Union City, Pa.
