Charles David Allen

Charles David Allen,48, of Wattsburg Street, Union City, Pa. passed away of Friday, December 5,2008, at his residence.

He was born May 6, 1960 in Corry, Pa. the son of Audrey (Lewis) Allen and the late David Paul Allen.

He was a 1978 graduate of Union City Area High School and was employed at Auto Express of Erie, P A as a detailer. He was also a lifetime member of the Union City Volunteer Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his father David Paul Allen in February of2001. Survivors include his mother Mrs. Audrey (Lewis) Allen of Union City, PA and six children; Charles David "Butch" Allen Jr., Tricia Allen, Stephen Allen, Keith Allen, Kevin Allen all of Hadley, PA and Alicia Allen of Union City, PA and four sisters; Robin Gerdy and her husband Larry of Corry, PA Debbie Ames and her husband Ben of Denver, Indiania, Karen Bowman of Waterford, PA, Kathy Shreve-Michelle of Titusville, P A, and two brothers Mark Allen and his wife Connie and Mike Allen and his wife Donna all of Union City, PA Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Cremation was requested, and no calling hours will be observed. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, December 12,2008 at 11 :00 AM at the Parade Street United Methodist Church, 7 Parade Street, Union City, PA with Rev. Diane Olson officiating. Interment will be in Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
