Marion C. Behan

Marion C. Behan, 87 of Union City PA went to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 15, 2008 surrounded by her loving family.

She was a life long resident of Union City PA and was born June 7, 1921 in Union City the daughter of the late Benjamin and Anna (Dietzel) Sielder.

Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Paul F. Behan, they were both active in the service to their Church and Community. Marion most enjoyed her work with the Salvation Army and the Union City Food Pantry, The Alumni Association and the Bentley School Reunion, the one room school. If anyone was ever in need, Marion was always one of the first to help.

Marion is survived by three children; a daughter Alice Marie Tenneriello and her husband Nick of Long Island, NY and two sons; Paul. Behan and his wife Becky of Seattle, WA and Gary L. Behan of Union City PA. Also five grandchildren; Jill, Patrick, Michelle, Christine and Samantha. Also fourteen great grandchildren; Meghan, Hailey, Vincent, Marco, Alexa, Andrea, Amy, Joshua, Aiclin, Paitin, Darian, Nathaniel, Clem and Gabriel.

Friends may call at the GLENN FUNERAL HOME, 62 South Main Street, Union City PA on Monday, November 17, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. and may attend funeral services at the FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 42 East High Street, Union City PA on Tuesday November 18, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Linda Chambers will officiate with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Union City PA.

Memorials are requested to the Union City Food Pantry.
