Lisa Ann Gillett

Lisa Ann Gillett, 43, of Atlantic Street, Union City, Pa. passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family members. She ws born September 3, 1964 in Union City, Pa. the daughter of Mary Turner and Walter Duke.

She was a Union City Area High School graduate and had managed the Ben Franklin Store in Union City, Pa. for several years as well as the Family Dollar Store. She was a passed member of the Union City Chamber of Commerce, and had worked most recently as a caregiver for CRI. Lisa loved gardening, country music, karaoke, scrapbooking, floral design and many other crafts. She was very active in the community and was loved by all.

Survivors include her children Brianna and Keith Gillett both of Union City, Pa. their father Brian Gillett of Union City, Pa. her mother Mary Turner of Erie, Pa. and her father Walter Duke and his wife Vera of Union City, Pa. Further survived by brother Ronald Duke of Erie, Pa. Sisters; Susan Barnes and close friend Clinton Griffis of Albion, Brenda Elias, and Debbie Duke, both of Erie,Pa. Becky Zirkle and her husband Darryl of Cambridge Springs, Pa. a dear friend Frances "Butch" Struble of Erie,Pa. and a Brother-in-Law Ricky Barnes of Erie, Pa. Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. Also Step-sisters Christine Weed of Erie, Pa. Rhonda Weed of Union City, Patti Jo Plachta and husband Pat of Waterford, Pa. Jon Weed and his wife Penny, and Todd Weed and his wife Michelle all of Union City, Pa.

Friends are invited to call at the GLENN FUNERAL HOME, 62 South Main Street, Union City, Pa. on Friday, May 16,2008 from 2-4 and 6-9 P.M. and attend funeral services there on Saturday, May 17,2008 at 11 :00 A.M. Rev. Barlett J. Wheeler of the Union City Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society, Erie Unite 2115 West 38th Street, Erie, Pa. 16508-1925.
