Louis Anthony Michael Osiecki

Louis Anthony Michael Osiecki, 66 of Erie passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at UPMC Hamot. He was born June 14, 1945 in Erie, son of the late Joseph and Mary (Kweeder) Osiecki.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era as a distinguished Navy Seal. He was employed at the Bel-Aire Clarion Hotel as a security guard. He was a member of the American Legion East Erie Post 771. He enjoyed fishing, his dogs and watching the Steelers.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Osiecki. Survivors include his wife of 18 years Phyllis C. (Orzepowski) Osiecki, a son Michael Osiecki (Yvonne) of Erie, a brother Joseph Osiecki (Carol) of Arizona, a sister Joann Moore (David) of Millcreek and a sister-in-law Peggy Osiecki of Norfolk, VA. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503, Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home on Friday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church. Burial with full military graveside honors will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
