Lottie M. Bean

Lottie M. Bean, 96, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at the Manchester Presbyterian Lodge. She was born May 20, 1914 in Pittsfield, Pa., daughter of the late Henry Clay and Charlotte (Relby) Pillsbury.

She was an animal lover, enjoyed reading, gardening, and she loved her grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Bean in 1993; a brother, Harry Pillsbury; a sister, Rosie Wilson; and son-in-law, David Andrzejczak. Survivors include a son, Douglas Bean (wife Joan) of Waterford, Pa.; a daughter, Linda Chludzinski (husband Steven) of Erie; and a brother, Theodore Baker of Sugar Grove, Pa. Also survived by five grandchildren, Amy, Jason, Christopher, Jeffrey, and Kevin; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503, Monday, April 25, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery.
