Carol E. Gornic Neal

Carol E. Gornic Neal, 67, of Harborcreek Township passed away on Friday, March 12, 2010. She was born August 5, 1942 in Erie daughter of the late George and Nellie (Piglowski) Gornic.

She worked as a Banquet Coordinator. She was a caring mom and grandmother. She enjoyed collecting cherubs and angels.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother George Gornic and a special friend Jim Shaw. Survivors include a daughter Deborah Harmon of Harborcreek, Pa., a son Samuel P. Harmon wife Vivienne of Millcreek, a brother Gerald Gornic and a sister July Krahnke and husband Harold both of Erie, two granddaughters, Nicole Curtis husband Ronald of Wesleyville, Amanda Mills of Harborcreek, a grandson Michael Mills and girlfriend Zureka DeKlerk of Harborcreek, great-grandchildren include mema's special little angel Kirsten Lynne, and Travis, Hannah and Dylon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home Monday, March 15, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting contributions be made to Great Lakes Hospice, 1700 Peach Street, Suite 244, Erie, PA 16501.
