Dolores Elliott Hinterberger "Dee" Hageman

Dolores "Dee" Elliott Hinterberger Hageman, 71, of Erie passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at her residence. She was born July 21, 1938 in Lackawanna, N.Y., daughter of the late Herbert and Eleanor (Puff) Elliott.

She worked as a barmaid at Marty's Tavern for 21 years. She was a member of the St. Mary's Club Wednesday Night Ladies Bowling League. She enjoyed reading, baking, bowling and spoiling her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson Dale Edward Armstrong Hinterberger. Survivors include a son Dale Hinterberger (Bev) of Waterford, Pa., a daughter, Beverly Lucini and Joseph, two sons Paul Hinterberger, Sr. (Denise), Thomas Hinterberger, Sr. (Toni), a daughter, Darlene Hageman all of Erie, a sister Diane Gawlak (Al) of Buffalo, N.Y., a sister Maryanne Kruska (George) of Hamburg, N.Y., a sister Eleanor Lenke (Robert), a brother, Herbert Elliott, a sister Carol Julian (Sam) and a brother Charles Elliott (Carol) all of Buffalo, N.Y. Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and from 6 until the time of services at 8:00 p.m. conducted by the Rev. William Coleman. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 2115 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
