Gladys "Lottie" Puza Daleski

Gladys "Lottie" Puza Daleski, 93, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at St. Mary's Home-East. She was born August 29, 1915, in Westfield Mass. daughter of the late Alexander and Valerie (Federowicz) Puza. She retired in 1980 from the Erie School District. She was a member of the St. Stan's Moms Club, and the Moniuszko Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed needlework and spending time with her family.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Daleski in 1987, one brother, Harry Hintz, and one brother-in-law, Edward Sekerka. Survivors include two daughters, Pauline Paszko and husband Charles of St. Louis, Mo. and Patricia Kisiel of Erie, one brother, Stanley Puza and wife Valerie of Erie, and one sister, Regina Sekerka of Rosholt, Wisconsin. Also survived by four grandsons, Bryan Kisiel and wife Margel of Connellsville, Pa., Kenneth Kisiel and wife Michelle of Avonmore, Pa., Michael Kisiel and wife Theresa, Mark Kisiel and wife Michelle both of Erie, 7 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Erie Center for the Blind.
