Sadie Kosko Bocianowski

Sadie Kosko Bocianowski, 87, of Millcreek Township passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at her residence. She was born December 25, 1920 in Utica, N.Y. daughter of the late Eugene and Helen (Fekieta) Kosko. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and playing cards.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley W. Bocianowski in 1989, two sons, Robert Bocianowski and Stanley "Butchie" Bocianowski, three sisters, Stella Graczyk, Jo Ann Witkowski, Nellie Diorazio and one brother, John Kosko. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Gatti and Shirley Weis and husband Gerald both of Erie, one sister, Mary Fries of Erie, eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503, Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Services will be at the funeral home on Monday at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 at St. Julia Catholic Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family c/o Edward J. Garr Funeral Home
