Pearl J. Bielanin “Albrewczynski” Albrew
Pearl J. Bielanin “Albrewczynski” Albrew, 85, formerly of 921 E. 21st St., died Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Presque Isle Rehab. & Nursing Center. She was born September 13, 1921, in Erie, daughter of the late Anthony and Florence (Chudzicki) Bielanin.
She worked as a waitress at the Lakeshore Country Club, Elks Club and Damores Restaurant. She was a member of the Polish Sharpshooters Club, the Moniuszko Club, the PNA Club and the Polish Falcons Nest 123. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, gardening and her dogs.
Besides her parents, her husband of 67 years, Frank Edward Albrew; a son, Gregory Paul Albrewczynski, Sr.; two brothers, Raymond and Arthur Bielanin; and two grandsons, Gregory Paul Albrewczynski, Jr., and Stephen Paul Albrewczynski, all preceded her death. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Dalton, and Andrea Betzhold and her fiance, Kevin Petrone; three sons, Frank Albrew, Jr., Jerome Albrew and wife, Anita, and Anthony Albrew; and three sisters, Dorothy Raflowski, Virginia Walters, and Florence Sova, all of Erie. Also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call at the Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, 459 E. 12th St., Erie, PA 16503, Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home on Monday, June 4, 2007 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
