Helen Szymecki Cywinski

Helen Szymecki Cywinski, 93, of Lawrence Park Township, died Monday, May 14, 2007 at Twinbrook Medical Center. She was born March 1, 1914, in Erie daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo Szymecki.

She had worked at St. Vincent Health System in the Housekeeping Department. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

Besides her parents, her husband, John Cywinski, one brother and two sisters preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Norbert Cywinski, of San Francisco, Calif., two brothers; Ray and Leo Szymecki and two sisters, Betty and Theresa.

Relatives and friends may call at the Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503, Thursday, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Committal services will be Friday, May 18, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel.
