Richard Dean "Rick" Buziewicz

Richard Dean "Rick" Buziewicz, 45, of Corry passed away suddenly on January 26, 2012 while working in Ohio. He was born a son of JoAnn Marie Young of Fairview and the late Raymond R. "Butch" Leupold on April 22, 1966 in Erie.

Rick graduated from Fairview High School, class of 84. He attended the Abbe Reformed Church in Clymer, N.Y. He was very artistic and creative, for the last 16 years he airbrushed pumpkins, and helped to set up displays at Mason Farms. In the recent years he worked in the commercial flooring industry. Rick was great with kids, all the kids enjoyed being around him. He was a hard worker, he could do any job you asked him to do, and would give anything to someone that needed it.

In addition to his birth father Raymond R. "Butch" Leupold, Rick was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Ann and Stanley Buziewicz; maternal grandfather, Ben Young; and a nephew Jake. He will be greatly missed by his parents Peter and JoAnn Buziewicz of Fairview; his future wife Valeri Panetta and her daughters Geena and Olivia; his sister Ann Burford and her husband Chris of Shreveport, La.; his three brothers, Pete and his wife Judi of Girard, Brian and his wife Coleen of Harborcreek, and Michael and his wife Emily of Columbus, Ohio; his maternal grandmother Anna Young; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Daniel R. Edder Funeral Home, 309 Main St. East, Girard. Services will be held there on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Richard Buziewicz Memorial Fund C/O Daniel R. Edder Funeral Home.
