Daniel R. Edder Obituaries

Mary Louise "Timmy" (Timblin) Coyle

Mary Louise "Timmy" (Timblin) Coyle, 75, of West Springfield (formerly of Erie) died surrounded by her family at home on April 10, 2009 following an extended illness. She was born in Brookville, PA, on September 13, 1933, a daughter of the late Charles Frank and Rose (Maloney) Timblin.

She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 52 years, James A. Coyle; her dear daughter Kathleen Coyle; her eldest son Ryan J. Coyle, his fiancee Mona Cole, and her beloved granddaughter Mikaela Coyle; son Todd A. Coyle; her brother and life long friend Walter Timblin of Hazen, PA, her dog and best buddy Chewie; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Conboy; five brothers, Charles, Jimmy, Francis, Paul and John Timblin and numerous other relatives, and many good friends preceded her in death.

Mary graduated from Brookville High School in 1951. She later moved to Erie and was employed at Loblaws, for the Teamsters, and before she retired, as chef at the Florence Crittenton Home. She always had a spot in her heart for her hometown. She corresponded with her childhood friends from New Jersey to California and loved getting together with her cherished "Lunch Bunch" to reminisce and of course gossip

"Timmy" enjoyed roller-skating, square-dancing, Bingo, bowling, and swimming. In addition to her unparalleled cooking skills she was a talented craftmaker. She liked all types of word puzzles and was an amateur detective able to solve any case or mystery on TV or from real-life-sometimes even correctly. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother, an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan, loved hummingbirds, tulips, winter before it gets too old, rings, campfires, and Christmas. She did so much for those around her and will be missed as much as she is loved.

Friends may call on Monday from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Daniel R. Edder Funeral Home, 309 Main Street East, Girard, with the date of a Memorial Service to be announced later.
