Ann Aranyos Exley
Ann Aranyos Exley, 87 of Cranesville, died unexpectedly, Thursday March 15, 2007 at St. Vincent Health Center. Ann was born August 6, 1919 in McKeesport,Pa. a daughter of the late Sandor and Pauline Lazorik Aranyos. As a young girl, she moved to Cranesville with her family, where she resided throughout the remainder of her life. Her priority throughout her life had been to take care of her family and her home in Cranesville. She was a member of S.S. Cyril and Methodius Byzantine Catholic Church in Girard where she was a past member of the Altar Society. She was also a life member of the Cranesville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed making Rosary's for the people of the church. She was preceded in death by her husband Reginald C. Exley on February 12, 1984 and whom she married May 12, 1949 in West Springfield; also by twin sisters in infancy Mary and Pauline Aranyos also by four brothers Alexander, John, Andrew and Charles Aranyos. She is survived by a daughter Paula K. Reinhart and her husband Larry of Cranesville; a half daughter Beverly Dalton and her husband Jon of Tallahassee, Fla.; two step grandchildren Dr. Jonathan Dalton of Evanston, Ill.., Stacy Dalton of Chicago, Ill..; a sister Julia Aranyos of Cranesville; also several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at Daniel R. Edder Funeral Home, 309 Main St. East, Girard, Parastas served Friday at 8:30PM. The Panachida Service will be held there on Saturday at 9:30AM followed by the Divine Liturgy at 10AM at SS Cyril and Methodius Byzantine Catholic Church, Rev. Andrew Deskevich officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Girard.
