Josephine A. Abbate

Josephine A. Abbate, age 45, of Erie, passed away Monday, August 1, 2011, following a short illness. She was born in Erie on February 5, 1966, the daughter of Kathleen Wood Abbate and the late Frank Abbate, Sr.

Josie was known for her cute sense of humor. Besides her mother, she is survived by two sisters, Tina Abbate and Chrise Knapp; one brother, Frank Abbate Jr.; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at St. Patrick's R.C. Church, 130 East 4th Street on Monday at 10 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be designated to the Family through the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road.
