Margaret J. Affronte, age 90, of Harborcreek, passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 at Brevillier Village. She was born in Prescott, Arkansas on February 21, 1921, daughter of the late Joseph and Fannie Brown.

Margaret was a homemaker and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by two sons, Joseph M. Affronte, Jr. (Patricia Marie) of Ripley, N.Y. and Richard S. Affronte (Kristin Chadwick) of Harborcreek; one brother, Robert Brown (Eunice) of Liverpool, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Joseph III, Jeffrey, Michael and Nicole Affronte, John Link, and Michelle Fields; three great-grandchildren, Salvatore, Lauren and Michael; many nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Affronte, Sr.; an infant daughter, Joleen Rae; three sisters, Lora Mason, Nola Gram and Pauline Moser; three brothers, Joseph, Robert and Irywin Brown.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Saturday, July 16, at 3 p.m. conducted by Msgr. Gerald Ritchie. Memorial contributions may be made to a Charity of One's Choice.
