Amelia J. Anthony

Amelia J. Anthony, age 79, of Waterford, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Plumsville, Pa. on June 14, 1931, daughter of the late Frank and Ethel Ferrarro.

Amelia lived in the Erie area most of her life, but had also resided in Arizona for some time. She enjoyed doing needlepoint and also enjoyed drawing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edger Anthony, Sr.; her daughter Rene Anthony; and two brothers, Fred and John Ferrarro. Amelia is survived by four daughters, Michelle Navarro (Bill) of Arizona, Jane Ogden (James) of Wesleyville, Juanita Proper (Raymond Litz) of Summit Twp. and Denise Dryden of Washington; three sons, Donald Anthony of Washington, Thomas Anthony (Eileen) of North Carolina and Edger Anthony, Jr. (Debbie) of Washington; one sister, Ethel Stivers (Kenny) of Erie; two brothers, Sam Ferrarro (Sandra) of McKean and Frank Ferrarro II (Kathy) of Summit Twp.; 42 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. Friends are invited to attend a gathering on Sunday, January 9th at the Wesleyville Borough Hall, 3421 Buffalo Road, from 1 to 4 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road.
