 Alfred R. Baginski
Alfred R. Baginski, age 73, of Harborcreek Twp., passed away at his residence on Wednesday, November 24, 2010. He was born November 12, 1937 in Erie, son of the late Florian and Sophia Milewski Baginski. He had resided in the Erie area his entire life.
Al was a graduate of the former Tech Memorial High School. He had served in the National Guard. Al had been employed by International Paper Co., the former Hammermill Paper Co., for over 20 years until his retirement. Prior to that, he had been employed as a machinist and tool & dye maker by several Erie manufacturing companies. He was a loyal member of the Siebenbuerger Club where he was a past president of the club board of directors. Al was also a member of American Legion, Carl Neff Post #571, and the East Erie Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a dear sister, Justine Anderson. Survivors include five sons, Michael of Palm Springs, Calif., Paul (Donna) of Punta Gorda, Fla., Gary (Caroline) of Nashville, Tenn., Ryan of North East and Alan (Krista) of Wesleyville; one brother, Edward Baginski of Erie; two sisters, Bernadette "Honey Gross (Paul) of Erie and Gay Wdorbarczyk of Erie; four grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 4 p.m. Private interment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Family in care of the funeral home.
