Joyce Ann Reynolds

Joyce Ann Reynolds, age 59, of Friendship Apts. in Erie, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Morganfield, Ky. on January 18, 1951, a daughter of Donna M. Miller and the late Elza H. Skidmore.

Joyce worked at Erie Plastics and various other plastics shops over the years. She was a lover of life and almost always had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met, and was always willing to lend someone a hand. Joyce most enjoyed spending time with her family and was very involved in many activities at Friendship Apartments. She especially enjoyed going to Bingo with her mother, and reading. She was an excellent dancer who loved country music and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles. She loved shooting pool and playing cricket for Red's Tavern.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Henry and Florence Schulz; her beloved infant son, Russell C. Coy; her uncles, Richard R. Schulz and Marvin Schulz; and her aunt, Daphne Schulz.

Joyce leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Donna M. Miller of Erie; her sister, Rita M. Chrisman (Lynn) and nephew, Loren Chrisman and niece, Audrey Chrisman all of Pickerington, Ohio; three daughters, Glenda A. Gunn (Michael) of Erie, JoAnn M. Al-Hachami (Asama) and Angela N. Al-Hachami (Alaa) all of Detroit, Mich.; sons, Charles R. Miller (Melissa) of Clovis, N.M. and Christopher B. Miller of Jackson, Mich.; 19 grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, cousins; and her dear friend, Gretchen Denial.

Friends and family may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service there at 4 p.m. with Pastor Robert Weaver officiating. Memorial contributions may be designated to the Family, c/o the funeral home.
