Kathryn F. Condon

Kathryn F. "Kay" Condon, 97, of Wesleyville, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in Syracuse, N.Y. Kathryn was born on May 7, 1913 in Venice, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Lemuel Kline and Alice Ames Condon.

Kathryn served in the U.S. Women's Army Air Corps during WWII and served in Texas and the nation's capital. After the war Kathryn worked for General Electric and retired July 1, 1976 with 27 years of service. She enjoyed cake decorating as her hobby and traveled abroad. Kathryn was an active member of East Lake Road Alliance Church.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Hazel Myers, Mabel Bowser, Anna Nash and Ruth Woodward, and her brother, John Condon. She is survived by her nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Friday from 12 Noon until the time of the Funeral Service there at 1 p.m. Interment, Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
