Andrew Arthur "Mike" Adamczyk, age 84, of Erie, passed away Friday, May 21, 2010 at St. Vincent Health Center. He was born in Erie on December 10, 1925, son of the late John and Tillie Lesczek Adamczyk.

Mike, with his son Alan, enjoyed watching college football, especially Notre Dame. He also enjoyed watching classic movies, with "Shane" being his favorite and Elizabeth Taylor his favorite actress.

Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Adamczyk; eight brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son, Alan W. Adamczyk; a brother, Louie Adamczyk (Luan); nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., West, 536 West 10th St. on Monday from 12 Noon until the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. conducted by Msgr. William Beibel. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
