Robert E. "Rags" Argeny, age 70, of Wesleyville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Hamot Medical Center. He was born in Erie, Pa. on March 11, 1940, son of the late Ernest and Myrtle Vollmer Argeny.

Robert worked for a local manufacturing company in shipping and receiving for 32 years until his retirement. He was a sports fanatic and was an avid softball fan, enjoyed bowling and especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Robert is survived by his wife, Nancy Shemloff Argeny; two daughters, Dawn Brown and her husband Dean and Carrie Argeny all of Erie; one brother, Thomas Argeny of E. Springfield, Pa.; two grandchildren, Zachary Brown and Kolby Yale; and four nephews.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be designated to the Family through the funeral home.
