 Edward J. Moskot II
Edward J. Moskot II, of Centerville, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2010 after battling with severe illness, he was 76. Born in Erie, in 1933 he was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mildred (Millie), father, Edward I, and loving niece, Susan.
Ed served as an MP in the Air Force, and after being honorably discharged graduated from Gannon University with a degree in Political Science. Ed was a life-long dreamer and skeptic who, encouraged and inspired by his relationship with his mother, Millie, concentrated his efforts on his love of nature, science, books, and philosophy. With the help of his sister, Jean, he built a home of his own design that he shared with Millie, until her death, in 1996. Ed spent the final years of his life in that country he loved so dearly, often describing the bliss he felt when looking out upon the nature displayed on those acres.
Ed was big brother to Jean and James, and brother-in-law to Audrey and Alex (d 1992). He was regarded with awe by his nieces and nephews, Sal, Almitra, Paul, Susan (d 2009), David, Maribeth, and Diane, and loving curiosity by his great nieces and nephews. Ed never hesitated to show his feelings for those he loved, and he will be remembered by them fondly, forever.
