Ana M. Rodriguez

Ana Rodriguez, age 85, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Ana was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico on January 10, 1925 and had lived in North East, Pa. from 1965 to 2004 and spent the last six years in Erie with her daughter Raquel and family.

Ana made her Cursillo in 1970 and was active in the Spanish Mass and activities of St. Michael's R.C. Church in Erie. She was a seamstress and enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and loved gardening. She also loved to dance and listen to Spanish music.

Ana was preceded in death by her parents, Luis Torres Gonzalez and Maria Andujar. Also by her brothers, Angel Hernandez and Fernando Torres Andujar and her sister, Maria Luisa Torres Andujar.

Ana is survived by four daughters, Norma N. Ramos, Carmen L. Rivera and her husband George, Raquel A. Gonzalez and her husband William, and Ana F. Wroblewski and her husband William of Erie and one brother, Armando Andujar of Erie. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Prayer Service there on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen R.C. Church, 1237 West 21st St. Burial will be at St. Gregory's Cemetery in North East, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family.
