John Scott Kowle

John Scott Kowle, age 42, of Greene Twp., passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Millcreek Community Hospital. He was born in Erie on May 24, 1967, the son of John C. Kowle and Margaret Walk and stepson of Barry Walk.

John was a 1985 graduate of Harbor Creek High School and a 1988 graduate of Erie County Technical School. John was a tool & die maker for Red Dog Industries and was also self employed with Valley Welding & Small Engine Repair. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and time with his grandchildren.

Besides his parents he is survived by his wife, Tammy Toennies Kowle; two children, John Scott Kowle, Jr. and Ashley Lynn Kowle; three sisters, Sherry Herring (Richard), Michelle Kightlinger (Scott) and Cassie Vargo (Jay); two brothers, Duke Kowle and Barry Walk, Jr. (Stacy); grandchildren, Taylor James Kowle and Kylie Marie Bednar; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Monday at 10 a.m. conducted by Pastor Andy Bartlett. Interment, Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be designated to the Family.
