Dorothy "Dot" Irene Brandon Hawley, age 69, of Harborcreek went to the Lord, surrounded by loving family on February 26, 2010 at her home after a short illness. Dorothy was born April 13, 1940, in Sugar Creek, Pa. the daughter of Roy and Florence Brandon who preceded her in death.

She was married on November 12, 1958 to Samuel Hawley, who survives her along with one son, Bob Hawley (Lu); three daughters, Cindy Seth (Matt) Wendy Cochran (Bill) and Chris Medwid (Mark); sister, Bonnie Hawley (John); brother, Donald Brandon; sisters-in-law, Patty Miller (Ron), Lorraine Brandon and Loretta Brandon; grandchildren, Matthew, Amie, Renee, David, Jason, Amber, Joe and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Briell and Maliah; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; good friends, Marty and George Goodrich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers, Samuel, Charles, Thomas, Vernie, William, Kenneth and Herbert; two sisters, Verna and Geraldine; and good friends, Casey and Barb Fitzgerald.

Dorothy worked as a childcare provider at HarborCare Christian Daycare for many years. She actively attended Lawrence Park United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, swimming, gardening and sharing her faith in God.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Lawrence Park United Methodist Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev.
