Evelyn R. Kooser Yauger Riley Belovarac
Evelyn R. Kooser Yauger Riley Belovarac, age 79, formerly of McKean, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Ball Pavilion in Harborcreek Twp. She was born October 28, 1930 in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of the late Carl and Mary Manges Kooser. She had resided in the Erie area for over 35 years.
Evelyn was a graduate of South Union High School. In years past, she was an active member of the Big Brownfield United Methodist Church where she had been a member of the church choir and had served as a long-time Sunday School teacher. She had more recently been a member of the McKean United Methodist Church. Evelyn had been previously employed by the former Thrift Drug and had also worked at JCPenney where she was manager of the boy's dept. She was a former member of the McKean Garden Club. She enjoyed camping, watching humming birds and playing piano.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her first husband, James H. Yauger, her second husband, William Riley and her third husband, Stephen Belovarac; one sister, Margaret Kooser; four brothers, John Wesley, William, James Robert and Carl Kooser, Jr.; and one son, Larry J. Yauger.
Survivors include a son, Dan R. Yauger (companion Sandy) of Erie; three step-children; three grandsons, Jonathan, James and Jody Yauger; four great-grandchildren; a dear friend, Marshall Reed of McKean; many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend the Funeral Service there on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Barbara English, Pastor, McKean United Methodist Church. Interment, Edinboro Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to John Kanzius Cancer Research, 1001 State St., Erie, PA 16501.
