Dorothy B. Streich

Dorothy B. Streich, 94, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2008 at Edinboro Manor. She was born in Ridgway, PA on February 6, 1914, daughter of the late Ardilla and Burt Mayes.

She married Walter P. Streich on June 3, 1932, who preceded her in death on March 23, 1999. Dorothy was the last member of her family. She loved music, camping, bowling and boating.

Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Betty Manno, (Richard) of Ridgway and Peggy Clement (James) of Cranesville; four grandchildren Ken Clement (Tammy), Lori Zinnamosca (Brian), David Clement and Steven Clement (Deadra); 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jacqueline in infancy; two brothers, Hobart and Robert Mayes; and two sisters, Clara Zimmerman and Ella Mayes.

No calling hours will be held. A Memorial Service will be held at the Cranesville Bible Church on Friday, May 16th at 1 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., West, 536 West 10th Street. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cranesville Bible Church, Reed St., Cranesville, PA 16410 or VNA Hospice Services of Erie County, 1305 Peach St., Erie, PA 16501.
