William A. "Bill" Heath, age 64 of North East, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 9, 2008. He was born on February 17, 1944 in Sedalia, MO the son of the late Glenn Heath, Margaret Bennett Lincoln and James Lincoln.

A resident of Erie since 1967, Bill had been employed with International Paper for 24 years. Bill had previously worked with the former Koehler Brewery. He was a long time member of South Harborcreek Untied Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, watching Westerns on TV; was a history buff and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Ruth Morgan Heath; two daughters, Rhonda Rockwell (Hal) of Summerville, SC and Jennifer Zdaniewski (Glenn) of Harborcreek Twp.; one son, William E. Heath (Marcy) of Lake City, PA; his beloved grandchildren, Denae, Christine, Karly, Payton, Jennifer, Sarah, Angela and Daniel; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Myra Niemeyer (Dave), Sussie Johnson (Bob) and Niki Kinsley (Alan); two brothers, James Lincoln (Virginia) and Glenn Heath (Diane); many nieces nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday at South Harborcreek United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 11 a.m.. Private interment. Memorials may be made to South Harborcreek United Methodist Church, 7929 McGill Rd., Harborcreek, PA 16421.
