Betty "Gram" Kenney Bartlett
Betty "Gram" Kenney Bartlett, age 76, of Lawrence Park Twp., passed away Monday, April 14, 2008 at St. Vincent Health Center following a lengthy illness. She was born on December 7, 1931 in Revloc, PA, daughter of the late Robert and Sarah Stone Kenney.
Betty had worked with General Electric for 27 years, retiring in 1991. A veteran of the Women's Army Corps, she served in the Korean Conflict. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren's sporting events. Betty was a member of American Legion Carl Neff Post #571.
Survivors include three daughters, Pat Bartlett of Erie, Karen Krajnik (Michael) of Lawrence Park Twp. and Mary Elsessor (Donald) of Cherry Tree, PA; one son, Daniel Bartlett (Janis) of Harborcreek Twp.; one stepson, James Bartlett (Charlotte) of Lake City, PA; two sisters, Mildred DeBalli of Fairfield, CA and Doris Risch of Covington, KY; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd W. Bartlett in 1987; a granddaughter, Amy Krajnik Mlakar; two brothers, Russell and James Kenney and one sister, Vera Kleshock.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 8 p.m. conducted by Rev. Bob Klecan, Pastor, First Baptist Church of North East. Memorials may be made to The Regional Cancer Center, 2500 West 12th St., Erie, PA 16505.
